Does it work to cover the bottom of a bread pan with parchment paper when baking yeast bread?

The bottom of my loaf pan is a little rusty. Will the parchment paper peel off easily after the bread is done? It works great with cookies and quick breads, but how about yeast bread?

Parchment is fine, but... Bread pans are also pretty cheap, unless there's something in particular that you like about this one. Personally, I like free-form or molded loaves baked on a stone and a I always use cornmeal underneath. I'm not so much worried about the sticking, but I like the flavor of the cornmeal. As for parchment, there's also a product called (I think) SuperParchment.

I bought mine at a hardware store and threw out the packaging long ago, so I can't check. It's a little thicker than parchment, but nowhere as thick as a silicon mat. This stuff is reusable, and you can cut it to size.

So you could trim a piece to fit your bread pan and just wash it and use it over and over. Might be less hassle than cutting parchment every time you use that pan..

Yes, parchment paper can be used to line bread pans for yeast bread. Isn't parchment paper great? Since it can be used to line cake pans, I think that it would also be fine for lining a bread pan.

The paper is non-stick, so the bread should just pop right out of the pan. Also, in a regular, conventional oven, parchment paper be used with temperatures up to 450°F. Good luck!

Yes it will work and work really well. I use it all of the time, even to bake pizza. Sources: my experience .

Parchment paper works well with all foods, but make sure you spray a little Pam in the pan first to anchor the paper. Otherwise, as the dough rises it may take the parchment paper up into it's mass and you will have to peel away bread and parchment when you are done! Also, grease the pan, as you would normally after inserting parchment.

I Don't see why it would not work. I would just butter it the same as the rest of the pan Sources: life .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
