Does laser hair removal really work?

I had laser hair removal done on my bikini line. I went to a trust doctor for this procedure. When I got there, she had her nurse do it to me.

The results were terrible. I have horrible scars and skin discoloration. The best way I can describe it, is how my best friend's husband did.It look like someone set me on fire and stomped it out with golf shoes.

It took me several weeks to heal. There are a great deal of things you should know before getting procedure done. This includes not tanning or using self tanners for along time, not plucking or waxing for along time before hand and most important, getting someone who knows what they are doing!

I blotched terrible and nearly passed out from the pain. It took open, oozing sores over a month to heal. I know people who had laser hair removal without any problems, but it does happen.

I think I had about 4 or 5 visits. I had them do my facial hair and the hair on my legs. Some people say it is a bit painful, but I did not think it was painful at all.It was explained to me that the laser hair removal treatment should keep 80% of the unwanted hair away for good.

I had this done about a year ago and I would say it has kept about 95% of the unwanted hair away. Once in a while I will see a stray hair here or there. I just usually pluck it.

It sure beats have to shave my legs and pluck my facial hair. I would say "Go for it!" I have not heard of any horror stories, at all.
