Of course he does. All Mormons do, and he was a Mormon bishop. It's a standard teaching in the Book of Abraham, and there's a Mormon hymn called "If You Could Hie To Kolob."
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADX-He30_... EDIT: Either poster "Hello" is lying, or the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, in the link above, is lying, when they sing the hymn. Which are you going to believe? "Hello" is an outright liar.
Also, all the references anyone could ever need are nicely laid out in this Wiki article on Kolob, where everyone can check for themselves to see if it's a teaching of that cult or not: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kolob I'm so tired of people saying it's not a teaching when it absolutely IS.
Romney isn't dodging questions, he's trying to focus on political, rather than religious topics. But to answer your question anyway, Mormons do not believe that we came from or are going to the planet Kolob. Like others have said, it is simply an allegory about being nearer to our Savior and striving to be more like him.
None of us are perfect, but we are trying to be as Christlike as we can, so that we can live with him in Heaven, in a place that is as beautiful as the words to the hymn- A place of love, of progress, of unity and virtue. If you want to learn about what Mormons REALLY believe, go to the official website at LDS.org, not google. I'm not sure why Ms Einstein has so much anger about this, but I hope she would believe a real Mormon over something like youtube or wikipedia.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
