He cant get rid of it. Only Congress can repeal it. If the Supreme Court declares most of it to be constitutional who would try to overturn the legislation?

Actually it was a conservative idea in the 80's to find a way to make people who get a free ride to pay something. There was many ideas on how to do this. Romney tested the idea and learned.

The difference between Romney and Obama is the mandate under Obama care is to pay for the 44 million who will be getting free health care while the rest pay for it. Not to mention in our constitution is allows states to do things like this. Cause if you don't like it, you can move to a different state.

There is completely different ideologies for their plans. One is a conservative one and the other is a socialistic one.
