Does the Blackberry Curve 8520 connects all data through wifi instead of Edge when wifi available?

As far as I can tell, you can use WiFi without using Data. The only problem is that in order to make sure you are using only WiFi you have to turn off your data. Turn off the Mobile Network from the Manage Connections and you will be able do everything with WiFi, but you will not get any phone calls or text messages.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
