I want to love this seat. It is everything that my wife and I were looking for: not too bulky, safety harness for large children (our daughter is almost 3 and already ~45lbs.), and LATCH. However, as much as I want to love it, this seat is an absolute nightmare to install.
I've installed the seat in three vehicles: a 1995 Mercury Sable (using shoulder belt), an early 2000 Acura TL (using LATCH), and a 2007 Toyota Camry (using LATCH). Each time, it takes roughly thirty minutes to install it and I'm never satisfied that the seat is installed as tightly as it should be. The general problem is the way the belt/LATCH pass-through on the back of the seat is designed.
There are vertical oval holes on either side of the back which the car shoulder belt and seat LATCH system pass through. Once the belt is buckled or LATCH straps are attached, it is impossible to tighten the belt/strap as much as is needed for the seat to be installed securely. The oval holes obstruct the seat belt buckle and ... more.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
