Yes, with IBM I 6.1 or later, a switch is not required between the iSCSI adapters for simple one-to-one configurations that use an IBM I iSCSI hardware target (iSCSI HBA). For more complex configurations, configurations that use an IBM I iSCSI software target (Ethernet NIC), and for I 5.4, a switch is required between the iSCSI adapters. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
