My wife is looking for a new car and really likes the Mini. However, when we were at another dealer test driving cars last night she mentioned the Mini and the dealer (NOT a Mini dealer) said to rethink it because it requires 93 octane. I bounced around the web and I find conflicting answers.
Can someone with knowledge of the Mini's please reply and let us know? Thanks in advance. Asked by Talbot 44 months ago Similar Questions: Mini Cooper automobile require higher octane gasoline Recent Questions About: Mini Cooper automobile require higher octane gasoline Transportation > Automotive.

Yes All models of the Mini Cooper specify premium gas, including the base, supercharged, and turbocharged models. However, they tend to get relatively good mileage on the premium sauce. According to Consumer Reports, mileage and fuel requirements for the 3 models tested are shown below: consumerreports.org/cro/cars/models/new/... When a car's specifications say that premium gas is "recommended," you can get away with burning regular if you don't mind losing horsepower.
When the specifications say that premium gas is "required," you cannot use regular. The Cooper's engine has a 10.6:1 compression ratio, and this is much too high for the car to run on regular gas. Sources: Cited .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
