The Judiciary Act of 1925 allowed the US Supreme Court discretion to determine what cases to hear, with a few exceptions. Congress eliminated mandatory jurisdiction over death penalty cases in 1988.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
