Don't atheists realize that if God was a figment of our imagination...?

If there is no self i.e. Our personal identities 'I' are just figments of our imagination, doesn't this reality reduce the attachment to being alive i.e. Seeing that alive is just a state of being like death .

Thought is ego. The Universe is Ego! One Consciousness/Mind!

One! Even 'imaginary figments' exist! Somethings that exist can only be 'experienced' in the 'imagination/thought/Mind'!

You cannot go to Unicornia and visit with the Unicorn president in a spaceship, but you surely can in your imagination. That doesn't make it any less Real, that that microbe that can only be experienced/perceived/known through, not the imagination, but in this case, a microscope! Everything exists in context!

Thus, everything exists! Everything is, thus, Reality! Self-perpetuation just seems a bit silly since all living things are same energy going into and out of different forms.

Only serious views please. I do not understand the source of your judgment of 'silliness'? Beside, Not anything actually 'moves'!

That is only one of those 'figments'. Nothing 'changes'! There is One complete, all inclusive Reality!

It does not 'change'. What you perceive as 'change' is the fact that you are a unique Perspective of the One Reality every moment of existence! Like a 'flip-book'!

From certain perspective, the moments look like they are 'moving'. Other than that, they are not! There is not sufficient 'time' in the existence of the Universe for 'motion' to occur, other than the Here!

Now! Imagination. That is how we can experience the 'reality' of 'time' and 'motion' and 'causality'... And 'life' and 'death'!

There is no Ego self. That is a construct of your own. You tell yourself a story of who you are and believe it to a greater or lesser degree.

Defending and serving this false image is the source of most suffering in life. The true self is the centre of your being. The timeless observer that you rarely become conscious of but who is always there.

This does not diminish life or make it less meaningful it just diminishes your ego and that is painful and frightening. To start becoming your true self is a dark night of the soul. Its a kind of mini death of the Ego that most people avoid.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
