Yes, the majority are aware of that fact. But that does not make it an acceptable practice in the eyes of most voters. Apart from making Australia a talking point in the political world, all the coups have caused much ill feeling and resentment within the party that has staged the coup.

PMs jumping seats is becoming irksome - just as it is with holders of prominent Ministerial portfolios...........for instance, there has been more Defence Ministers in the past five years than there have been PMs. People used to joke about South American and African nations for coups and changing leaders - Australia is now the subject of those jokes.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
