Use INDIRECT to enter the B1 and B2 as variables for A, ie.
Use INDIRECT to enter the B1 and B2 as variables for A, ie =SUM(INDIRECT("A"&B1&":A"&B2)) to add A5 and A10 (rather than SUM A5:A10 =INDIRECT("A"&B1)+INDIRECT("A"&B2).
Thanks brettdj, its working. But its not according to my requirement. If enter the 1 in B1 and 5 in B2 then its giving me sum of A1to A5 but I want sum of A1 and A5 values only.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
