Dynamics CRM error: “The object cannot be updated because it is read-only”?

Try disabling your onload and onsave code to see if that is causing any problems. To quickly and temporarily disable the events, open the dialog box where you paste in your onload/onsave code and uncheck 'Event is enabled'. Then save the form and publish the entity.

Does the error still occur?

You're right, that was it! I raised a support case to Microsoft and they told me the same thing. If only I had waited a few more hours for your answer I could have saved my company $200.

:) Oh well. – EMP Aug 7 '09 at 6:39.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
