Encrypting web.config on shared hosting?

You just need to make web. Config writable. Shared hosts either give full access to the IIS user or give you some web-based tool, in you file manager maybe, to edit permissions.

You don't need to run aspnet_regiis.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
