Every time DirectSoft starts up, it takes forever to search for all of my links. How can this be avoided?

If you prefer to not have DirectSoft search for active links upon startup, you can disable this completely by going to C:/Windows/DS300. Ini and find the COMM SERVER header. Under this header place Autosense=0 .
