I too played with tennis ball throw bowling cricket. It is looking like ball is coming out of bowler's hand so fast,but when you watch closely, ball's speed will reduce once after the ball hitting the ground. So it is important to the ball closely and hit it as hard as ever.

Analyze the spot where the ball would hit in the ground, then make your stroke play. All the best.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
