Explain the glove the speed skaters use on their left hand? Is it metal or plastic on the fingr tips? I am assuming it is to protect?

The speed skaters touch the ice with their left hand fingers. So the gloves must be cut resistant. Wool, and cotton gloves are not acceptable.

Leather gloves are acceptable. Kevlar lined leather gloves are supposed to be the best. When the skater turns curves, their hand will touch the ice to maintain the balance. So the glove should be able to protect the fingers from the sharp edges of the skate blade.

The finger tips of the gloves have plastic pucks for extra protection.

Usually metal, Apollo Ohno's are actually gold tips, it is to protect fingertips and at the same tip not drag at all or create any resistance that would slow them down.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
