You will need more than just a powder to keep your oily skin under control. I also am EXTREMELY oily and occasionally acne prone. This is a skincare and makeup routine that works for me: Alba Botanica Pineapple Enzyme cleanser followed by their Pineapple Enzyme Scrub.
Mix the scrub with french or kaolin clay from whole foods. You can get the Alba at a drugstore or whole foods. Next you need a toner.
Plain witch hazel from the drugstore is ideal. It removes whatever bacteria may be trapped in pores along with oil as well as tightens your pores. It is known to aid in treating acne and managing oily skin.
It doesn't irritate or over dry your skin. Lastly, even oily skin needs to be moisturized. Jojoba is the ideal option because it balances out your skin, tricking it into producing less oil while leaving it appropriately moisturized.
It doesn't clog or irritate. It's actually known to also help reduce redness, treat acne, prevent blackheads naturally. You can purchase from Jason Natural at whole foods or trader joes.
Google how to apply it. (When you need face masks, look for ones with zinc oxide and sulfur. They help treat acne also help with oily skin.
If you need nightly acne treatment, go for Alba's Invisible Treatment Gel of Kiss My faces Tea Tree oil/Witch Hazel one. To fade acne scars google how to use lemon juice and vitamin e oil. It works!) After you follow this routine in the morning, let the jojoba absorb and apply one thin layer of PLAIN milk of magnesia from the drugstore.
This is a matifying miracle. It will help keep you matte and help keep your makeup in place. When people swallow it, it absorbs oil in their stomach.
Well it does the same on your face without harming it or overdrying it. Just let it dry and afterwards smooth out whatever white patches you may see. They will disappear and you will be ready to use traditional primer if you wish or get started with foundation if you wear it.
I find that with the milk I don't really need to. If you still want a primer, use Urban Decay's De Slick in a tube or a matte finish bb cream which can work as primers. Now if you wear foundation, you don't want to wear a heavy coverage one day to day especially if you're oily and acne prone.
It will feel like a mask and make feel sweaty underneath even if you look matte. You should stick to ones that are sheer to medium coverage. Or if medium to full don't overapply.
You also want an oil free foundation that has a matte finish. Here are some of my favorites drugstore, high end and mineral: Revlon Mineral Mousse. Almay Clear Complexion for when you are breaking out.
You can also use their concealer. I notice you mentioned this one and it's a great option. Just mentioning others in case you need a replacement in the future.
Stila Oil-Free. Diorskin Nude.
Anything mac has had a history of breaking out acne-prone skin. It seems like youre looking for coverage, and I absolutely loooove shisieido's pressed powders for their coverage, trust me, its absolutely amazing and worth every penny--looks like real skin, it has many rave reviews on the sephora website too. However, if youre looking for a long-lasting powder whose oil absorbing effect lasts and keeps oil away for a long time, id go with maybelline dream matte powder, I have super oily skin and I don't find myself needing to touch up very often.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
