Facebook Like button not displaying?

Well this is embarrassing. I eventually realised that one of my Firefox add-ons, Ghostery, was blocking the Like button So the code I originally posted does work.

You just solved my own hour of digging. – josh. Trow Oct 25 at 16:09.

You need to make a call to FB.XHTML.parse(); after the FB object is initialized.

I've just tried this - I've edited my original post to show -1 and -2, the two locations where I've tried your suggestion. In both locations it makes no difference. The code I had in my original post (which is simply excluding the FB.XFBML.parse()) is exactly as Facebook offer on their example page right after I registered my app.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
