Facebook, OpenID & OAuth Confussion?

Correct, Facebook is not an OpenID provider, they use OAuth just as you say Your question is a bit vague. I have no problem with my users having to authenticate twice Let your user choose which platform they want to authenticate with, and then use the proper API/code to connect and register them. Have a separate code section for Facebook and OAuth When the user come back you can check if they are logged in on facebook and auto-authenticate them since they have allowed your application If you need further information, please comment and I'll try to help :).

Cheers for your answer. It looks like i'll be able to do it with a single login approach it will just require some additional work to hookup the facebook and twitter authentication. I suppose there are benefits aswell in that you can access more information from twitter and facebook than you would with a standard OpenID provider.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
