Facebook privacy issue: change of privacy settings and its default. Opinions?

To say this is bothersome is an understatement. When they remove settings or change settings with updates, my information is left wide open until I lock it down again. Sorry Facebook it is time to go.

Look for alternatives. As more people become irritated with facebook other options will become available. Facebook may eventually go the way of MySpace, still popular by some measures, but I am betting that they will change or start to loose the strong position they currently have.

Perhaps it will simply evolve to an entertainment site . . .

I am soon going to remove my profile in favor of posting a picture of my self in a luchador mask. I will tell a few of my closest friends to follow said luchador, and I will fabricate everything about said Luchador. It seems like a reasonable measure to me, they want to take my personal information I will happily give them everything they want to know about El Grande Tigre* who is a multi-billionare born in the Jungles of Brazil and is skilled in fighting ghosts and mummies.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
