http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92HjH1GG3... I put a love spell on you -- Ha Ha Thank you for treating me right.
Well, you caught me in the 'glories' of Spring locally... - The end of 4 months of snow and cold-weather - All the Black Oaks leafing out again, and the grass in our pastures growing and greening up. - Our Does and Ewes giving birth... we have 40 Kids (baby goats) and 45 Lambs running about the pastures at the moment. - Getting cleaned up the last "damages" of Winter... downed branches and trees, cutting up firewood and burning the debris.
- Planting our 5 acres of vegetables. Seeing our wine-grapes get started for the season, and the trees in our orchards leafing out. And of course my wife's extensive flower beds.
- Being able to get out and BBQ with friends and neighbors. - The World Famous Frog Jump & Calaveras County Fair - it's where we are now! Parked in our horse-trailer / camper - finished the "Kiddie Parade", and looking forward to our rodeo events, grandson's frog-jumping, and seeing how we do with our Wine, Beer, and Woolen entries (no animals entered this year... a few years until the grandson is old enough for his first 4-H project).
- And BEST of all... the end of the School year - My Grandson just wrapped up Kindergarten, and my youngest daughter returned home last night from her freshman year at the US Naval Academy. I LOVE Fall also... the return of rain after our DRY & HOT Summers filled with wild-fire danger, selling off our excess livestock (cows, goats, sheep), slaughtering our excess pigs and putting up all those hams and bacon, and those Fall Holidays.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
