Fellow Americans, what is your opinion of our president signing the 2012 version of the NDAA into law?

I am not surprised at all by it. He wishes that he was dictating a banana republic and will utilize all of the tools that he can to make it a reality.

Along with renewing the Patriot Act, it is another low point in Obama's career as president. America will become a repressive state and a shadow of its former self. America may very well be outclassed by several other democracies within my lifetime.

Having a law passed is not the same as abusing the law, there is a difference, we have courts in place to prevent abuses.

It's horrible, It's dangerous. It's unAmerican. Yes, I do care.

You will have to committed a crime against America to be " indefinitely detained " which im guessing 99.99% of Americans will never do so the law in all honesty does not apply to the majority of Americans. Not sure about you but I have no desire to kill my fellow Americans or destroy America so I don't have to worry about the Military detaining me till the day I die. No, I don't care.

Ironic considering how Buckwheat WANTED to give our sworn enemies American civil rights in American courts. More proof that he's an idiot who has had to retreat from his own moronic stances.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
