Victoria Stilwell is better than Cesar. Cesar uses more dominating methods that do not as easily transfer over to the owner from the trainer. Cesar's do not work for all canine personality types or all owners and trainers.
I would say Ceaser Millain. He is Emmy Nomminated. And I really do like how he does.
He is an great dog trainer. It is very amazing how he does. Walking large packs of dogs at a time.
With pitbulls to poodles. This answer is coming from an dog owner. It is very aggervating when someone says he won't hurt you he is just excited and jumps all over you indeed.
Nobody enjoys getting dirty, scratches exc.. due to dogs jumping them.
That's for entertainment, not for dog training! The man has never EVER studied professionally, so how can he call himself a professional? Just recently, "It's Me or the Dog" was nominated for a Genesis Award (look it up) - also, Victoria herself won an award for “Excellence in Journalism and Outstanding Contributions to the Pet Industry Award” by Global Pet Expo... not only that, she has studied with well renown trainers for over 15 years.
Her uses of SCIENTIFICALLY proven reward based training is long-term when you keep up with it. NO ONE is "magic" when it comes to training a dog - but if I was given the choice, I would rather have someone that was more concerned about where my dog was coming from, then someone who had to be macho and dominate towards a dog. It's hard to vote when you haven't seen both - and I can only watch Cesar for a few minutes before I'm disgusted with him and have to change the channel. This is my opinion - and it is fact based, though you may throw pro-Cesar quotes or links at me (I can throw back just as many, or probably more, of Victoria & positive reinforcement), it's unnecessary as it won't change my mind.
There's a REASON they put "don't try this at home" on his show... because even the network worries that someone emulating him will get hurt. On the other hand, "It's Me or the Dog" has NO warnings. Think about that.
Cesar Millan for sure. I have watched the shows of both, although it has been some time since I have seen Victoria Stilwell's. I like Ceasar's direct, no-nonsense approach.
I do not even own a dog right now, but wouldn't it be nice to start out right? I have never owned a dog and have only ever been around a few dogs that I thought were well behaved. I have had some bad dog experiences with dogs in my past.By watching Ceaser, I realized I don't need to be afraid of dogs if the owners are in full command.
Unfortunately too many people still respond with 'That's okay, he won't hurt you he's just excited! ' as their dog jumps all over you.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
