They make that much, but they have to spend MANY MANY hours at the store. The managers I work for in Distribution spend anywhere from 50-60 hours a week at work. I can't imagine what store managers or distribution center managers put in.
You don't have to have a degree, but one would sure expedite the process of being selected to manage. It takes YEARS of work within the company to move up into store managing. More-so without the educational background.
Also, even though they do get paid like that, store managers can be replaced quick. 2 bad inventories and their out. Short leash.
They do get paid the money, but there or plenty of reasons why. 160K or 200k per year sounds like a lot to the average person, but when you consider the money that Walmart Corporate makes per year and the responsiblity inherent in the Store Manager position, it's about par.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
