The parent div has to be centered aswell. – Filip Haglund Apr 28 at 18:00 The yellow div is centered.. What else do you need centered? See jsfiddle.Net/rudiedirkx/aZx4e/3/embedded/result for bigger viewport.
This is what I see (Chrome 11): screencast. Com/t/9e9UCoVLdB - Is that not exactly what you want? – Rudie Apr 28 at 18:47 then something is really screwed up with my code :( I guess i'll just have to rework it completely... – Filip Haglund Apr 29 at 15:12.
Constant width dynamic width Added the padding-right style. Change the 100px to what you want your constant distance from the right edge of the parent div to be. I also added an empty div w/clear:both.
This is important when floating to ensure other parts of your document aren't accidentally floated, which can occur in IE. You should get in the habit of adding a clear div as the last sibling of any elements you float.
Edited width on the parent div after noticing @Rudie's comment. – Dave Apr 27 at 16:52 I think I would need code to center the parent div aswell since that's where it starts to screw up – Filip Haglund Apr 28 at 18:01 I had assumed that your div was already centered. I've done this; but I don't have the work on me.
I'll post back later with how I centered the div. – Dave Apr 28 at 18:23 @Filip, I've included how to center the div as well. The border is just to show you where the div is.
You can remove it once you're confident it is centered. – Dave Apr 29 at 2:20 I hope it works, gonna try it out later this week. – Filip Haglund Apr 29 at 15:15.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
