For the contracts involving joining the army, whats the minimum amount of time you can serve?

All initial enlistments are for 8 years. Some of that time will be active duty, some may be active reserves and some may be inactive ready reserves. The most common is 4 years active, 2 years active reserves and 2 years IRR but other combinations are possible.

Some jobs require a 6 year active duty commitment. You need to discuss with a recruiter.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
