I usually see the glass half full. But the real question is what's in the glass? Because there are some things I'd rather have a glass half empty of.
I've actually answered this question before, but it's one I love so I'll share my opinion. It would entirely depend on what the glass is half full or empty of. Example 1 - Half filled with gold, woohoo, I have a half glass of gold.
Example 2 - Half filled with poop. Well, at least it's only a half a glass of s#%t. Does that make me an optimist? No.
Does that make me a pessimist? No. It makes me someone who sees a half a glass of whatever it may be filled with.
I like to consider myself a realist. I don't see it as full or empty. It is what it is.
I try to always find a silver lining in every situation, while accepting the fact that the silver lining may not be attainable.
Half full - Living to fill it is easier than worrying about the glass becoming empty.
I go through periods where I look at the glass half empty but most of the time I see it half full. It can be a challenge seeing it as half full though.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
