The VIP gives you certain avatar actions that non VIPs do not have, such as blocking others from touching you. The VIP will register your name (removes the "guest" portion). You also get a monthly gift and or room, and 5K credits.

You can make up to two public chat rooms. The AP allows you to buy and see products/items that are considered "adult content" for example, blood, alcohol, nudity. The AP doesn't need to be renewed or subscribed to - it's a one-time fee.

The AP does not remove the "guest portion" of an avatar's name. You can make up to 2 public chat rooms. If you own both the VIP and the AP you can make up to a total of 3 public chat rooms.
