Like with the Exxon boycott, I will boycott BP as well. There is only one that I know of in our area and it is way off the path which we travel. So sure I would be glad to boycott them.
With the Exxon Boycott there was not a single station for 50 miles in any direction so that one was really easy to join. So put me down a boycotter. L8r.
Yes, there are BP stations, but there also many convenience stores which sell gasoline under their store name, but the gas could come from anywhere. -BP, Exxon, Valero, etc. Most gasoline is s bought on the futures market through brokers. A local chain might buy 1 million gallons now, for delivery in September and that gas may come from anywhere.
Been to an airport lately? I have seen BP trucks at major airports. If you are planning to fly, I don;t foresee anyone getting off the airplane just because it was just fueled with BP aviation fuel.
So, how can rwe really boycott BP?
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
