I do not think that "Gamer" will turn into the mega movie franchise that "The Matrix" became. I have to admit that I liked neither "Gamer," nor "The Matrix. " However, I am not basing my answer on the fact that I did not enjoy "Gamer."
I am basing my answer on critics reviews and box office numbers for both movies. "Gamer" made $20.5 Million worldwide. * "The Matrix" (1999) made $456.5 Million worldwide.
* "The Matrix Reloaded" (2003) made $735.7 Million worldwide. * "The Matrix Revolutions" (2003) made $424.1 Million worldwide. * *according to Worldwide Box Office I expected more from "Gamer" because I enjoyed Gerard Butler's performances in so many other roles.
I think "Law Abiding Citizen," "The Ugly Truth," "Phantom of the Opera," "Dracula 2000," and "Attila. " He was also in a brilliant British mini-series called "The Jury. " I realize that many people were blown away by "The Matrix."
I haven't really seen or heard that same reaction in response to "Gamer. " There also isn't any information or buzz about a possible sequel. Lastly, since "Gamer" cost more than $12 M to make and only pulled in around $20 M worldwide, it is hardly the box office success achieved by each of the three movies in "The Matrix Trilogy.
Gamer did nothing interesting or new. In fact, it had very little to offer current gamers in a form of references to current game trends or actual play style. The original Matrix movie on the other hand introduced some new techniques and styles, as well as crafted a fascinating world to suck viewers into.
The sequels didn't hold up so well, but the original Matrix will definitely outshine Gamer.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
