I think that there is more than one pair of numbers that will work. The easiest solution is the pair of given numbers. If a=50 and b=2,102,100, then gcf(a,b)=50 (since a divides b), and lcm(a,b)=2,102,100 (since be is a multiple of a).
Start by factoring 2102100. You're looking to partition that set of numbers into two sets. Those two numbers will multiply out to 2102100.
There are some constraints on your partitioning, since both numbers need a GCF of 50. That means that they EACH need to have in both sets numbers that multiply out to 50. So, you factorize 50 and ensure each set has those factors in it.(You may have to re-use some numbers).
And since it's the GREATEST common factor, you have to make sure that your partitioning doesn't have anything else in common between the two. Multiply the numbers in your two sets together, and you have two numbers. Now, as cbc said, there is more than one answer (and gave one obvious one).
Is there more to the assignment that will let you narrow it down? .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
