Besides the wonderful advice given to you by Christine, here's the image that comes to my mind : a female hand holding tight to a Rainbow which symbolizes the dream, aspiration, hope of a wonderful life. You can draw the entire female figure or just go with the arm & fist. Other elements that you should include - -- raindrops, including 1 or 2 On the Rainbow "...as the rain puts a tear in his eye" -- a bridge across the Severn Or you could actually use the rainbow to double up for a bridge too -- a stark, bleak, greyish background to symbolize the bleakness of routine life or life without him .
And against this dark backdrop, the rainbow will stand out bright & vibrant symbolizing Hope & a wonderful life. Hope this inspires too All the very best :-).
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
