Germans nuclear power plants to close by 2022......what say?

I think its just an appeasement policy. To ease the protests and soothe some nerves. They might shut down some of the plants and improve the situation in many, but shutting down all stations by Europe's most industrial country doesn't sound feasible. What do you think?

Didn't know there was a plan. Only read the headline and the first four or five paragraphs. Did see they intend to replace with renewable, but don't know whether solar, wind, geo-, peanut oil.... First reaction seeing the headline remains the same, far as my opinion: A gasp of 'finally!

Somebody's leading the way!' And embarrassed that it wasn't America.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
