Actually a dazzle is not the only solution. There are many solutions out there for you, besides a dazzle is not a HD PVR which you said might get. A dazzle is considered a capture card.

Actually they are all considered capture cards to be honest with you. I'll explain because I am getting ahead of myself. Let's break down what a PVR is.

A PVR is a personal video record that takes in video and records it to an internal hard drive. These are the makers of video game montage recording devices that I know of and have used at one time or another: Dazzle, Pinnacle, Easycap, Newelectronx, Hauppauge, and Intensity Pro (Blackmagic). All of these manufactures make a capture card, NOT a HD PVR recorder except the company Newelectronx.

Newelectronx HD PVR is the only one that functions as an independent PVR as described by wikipedia, "is a consumer electronics device or application software that records video in a digital format to a disk drive, USB flash drive, SD memory card or other local or networked mass storage device" The Newelectronx HD PVR will do all of that. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_vid... The other ones (Dazzle, Pinnacle, Easycap, Hauppauge, and Intensity Pro Blackmagic) will need to use the resources from your computer. This means that you will receive the device and have to either open you computer case and plug the card into the PCI slot of your computer OR you will have to connect it to your computer by tethering it with a USB cable.

That is not it, you still won't be able to use it. Now you will have to install a free or separately purchased software. If you have a MAC then you will need to download separate software, so keep that in mind.

The software will run on the computer and communicate with the capture card. At that point you can use your PC or MAC to control the capture card and save gameplay to make a montage. The gameplay will be recorded onto your computers internal hard drive.

The capture card will use the computers hard drives (internal or any connected by external USB - some capture cards, can only use the internal hard drive). Also your PC or MAC ram must be high because the capturing device will need it to maintain a high speed for the video frames. If any resources on your computer are low then it will cause lag and video or audio inconsistencies.

So, again - spend a little money on your computer to make it faster, stronger... There are some good options out there, if you want to use a computer - as mentioned just make sure the computer is fast. Also remember that even if the capture card is marketed with the words HD PVR, it is not a real HDPVR unless it has a hard drive inside of it and if it does not depend on your computer to work. Also PVR copy to memory without a computer, so if it does not copy to an external hard drive or memory cards without a computer then it is not a HD PVR, it is technically a external connecting capture card.

That will tether to your computer by a USB cable. Another option that does not use a PC computer OR MAC is a real HD PVR, VCR, DVR, or camera. Personally I would recommend a video game recording console specifically designed to record gameplay montage.

Newelectronx makes a HD PVR that connects directly to any gaming console. I know, because I use it. Actually, I use 2 recorders (Black Magic and Newelectronx).

I use Newelectronx because it is portable and easy to use and records from anything. I use blackmagic when I want to record from unprotected HDMI feed. When using the Newelectronx HD PVR you need to get the composite cables from your game console (Nintendo WII, Playstation PS3, or Xbox 360) and connect them directly to the input on the rear of the HD PVR.

Personally I would recommend using the same setup I use. The HD PVR comes with everything in the box: cable, USB cable, video cable (component and composite), remote control, stand, etc. The only thing that is not included is a splitter. You can get a splitter any retail store for cheap.

Now, this is what I would do. I connect the composite cables from the gaming console to the input of the splitter (3 way splitter). Now, take the output from the splitter and connect it to the input of the HD PVR.

Take the other output of the splitter and connect it to your Vizio 1080 32 inch TV. When you want to record, just press the record button on the remote control of the HD PVR or press the record button on the HD PVR. The article explains it better http://hubpages.com/hub/record-gameplay-... When you want to connect the Newelectronx HD PVR to your computer then take the USB cable from the HD PVR box and connect the HD PVR to your Dell desktop.

It does not matter how slow your computer is or how old it is, it won't matter - the HD PVR will connect to it. You won't even need to download drivers to make it work. It will just automatically connect.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
