The Occupy movement has us talking about what really has caused the problems in our country: corporate influence in government. We're talking about income inequality. We're discussing issues of fairness.
And on -- there are a lot of things wrong, and the young people who are going to be living in a world shaped by these problems have every right to question how we got here and to ask how we can find our way out.
OWS has too many messages but no focus except rich are evil, banks are bad. (So why not protest Obama who bailed them out? Why not protest George Soros, billionaire or Nancy "insider trading" Pelosi?) Occupy "activists" using children in protests OWS people defacing property and harming mom and pop businesses which have nothing to do with Wall Street OWS offers no plausible solution but condemns plenty So many hypocrites in OWS - smart phones, expensive shoes and corporate brands on people who seem far richer than myself or my friends These privileged ninnies are totally unaware of how lucky they are to live in the United States.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
