Google said having a hub page increased the chances of acceptance. Should I just sign up first?

Write a few good hubs and them apply. Even having a blog will help. Hubpages is probably an easier way.

Yes, generally you will need some content in order to apply for adsense and get approved soon. Apply for adsense after to design your profile page look good with some description and some well-made hubs.

Thank you so much for answering my question. I agree that having some content first is the best way to go. I did get a response from someone who said I didn't need any content, and that may be true, but I would suspect that having content makes it more likely that a person will be approved on Adsense.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
