Grape seed extract, how much to take?

Surfed the net but couldn't find an answer. Off the shelf, grape seed extract is sold ranging from 50mg to 500mg per capsule, but all said the same: Take 1-2 capsules daily with meals... I'm confused. Is it OK if I took an "over-dosage"? Like 2 x 500mg as in the one I recently bought?

Will there be any side effects if I had taken an "over-dosage"? Also, some colleagues and friends were surprised that I showed an interest in the product. They said they thought it was for ladies who wanted to have better complexion.

I'm sure this product would be beneficial for men as well. Asked by Kenzohung 33 months ago Similar questions: Grape seed extract Health.

Skin and body care I have used supplements for years and never heard of grape seed extract for skin care. It is usually touted as heart healthy support. See: thebest3.com/health-and-fitness/reviews/... for a comparison of skin care products.

Grape seed extract didn't make it to the top three. A 'new' product now is called hyaluronic acid, a product the body produces and slows production as you age. Lots of supplements using this and under their own patented names, one says it comes from a plant in Japan, another says it is the chemical in the lining of an egg, etc.REMEMBER THERE ARE NO TRUTHS IN THE INTERNET.

Or to rephrase: The word Internet does not contain the word truth.

Grape seed extract functions as an anti-histamine and decongestant. As such, you would treat it like any other OTC cold/allergy medication and take what your body needs to obtain the effect required. I took it for my allergies, but found it didn't do much.

Start at one/four hours and go up from there until you have the sufficiently dry nose. If at one/hour you have no effect, never mind it and get some Claritin. Oh, and drink vinegar for your cold.

You'd rather kill the virus and be rid of it now than wait for body to get around to that.

2 I don't know TurboB, according to Wikipedia there are several clinical trials going on with the results pending. The benefit of using antioxidants against free radicals has shown itself to be beneficial. Taking grapeseed may not end up to help as much as it claims to now when the trials are completed but it does not appear to be harmful in the meantime.
