Victoria BC Victoria is a ferry ride from Vancouver. Its Inner Harbor is pedestrian friendly and it has great architecture and the whole place just feel warm and friendly and a great place to relax and stroll. You can spend a day just walking around the place and visiting the great museum and other attractions there.

One of the major attraction in Victoria is Butchart Gardens which is a world famous garden and it is also very large. If you go on a Saturday, you can also watch the fireworks display which is on every Saturday night during summer. If you only have a day, I would recommend taking a stroller in the Inner Harbor in the morning, then have gh Tea at the Fairmont Empress in the afternoon and then go to Butchart Gardens in the late afternoon and stay for fireworks.

If you stay for fireworks though, it may be a little bit late at night and so it will have to be more than a day trip.
