There are two facts we must face as a nation. 1. Guns don't change the DESIRE to kill, just the ABILITY to kill.
It's true that if someone is determined enough they could learn how to construct and detonate a bomb, but that additional effort would weed out many people who just want to grab a gun and start killing. 2. Laws can prevent criminals from getting guns.
For example, if we require background checks and waiting periods for all private purchases, this would prevent criminals from taking advantage of the private seller loophole. It is still possible to find weapons on the black market, but the additional effort would weed out many criminals who don't have the proper contacts. No law is 100% effective but sensible laws would undeniably reduce the number of criminals with guns.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
