Personally I think it's cute. But then I'm from Maine so don't tend to hear too many accents up here unless they're on TV. Also I tend to go more for the personality than the voice but I hope the teasing doesn't get too serious and put you down.
I work in a call center and I would say that there are several kinds of southern accents. The slow drawl - This is the only one I don't like. I am a Yankee and the stereotype is we talk quickly, but this is the opposite end of the spectrum.
This accent is spoken slowly and it has a take on vowels that I can find hard to understand. Light drawl - Some words are drawn out, but this person is easy to understand and talk to. I find this cute on women, and dare I say a touch of an accent can be quite sexy.
The Down Home Accent - Words aren't drawn out but southern slang such as "y'all" is common here. Again it is something that I think is cute. .. .
Now I haven't talked to you, but my experience is that Alabama Southern is often the middle one, the light drawl. :D.
I like them alright, as long as they're not overly-done (backwoods) or rednecky. Normal southern accents can be cute or even endearing, but I don't consider them especially attractive. I agree with the above poster: personality is much more important!
I find accents very attractive, especially southern accents. One particular memory of southern accents is of a woman say "Hounds of Love".
No, I don't. I like most British types of accents, including Indian and South African. French is nice too.
But not Southern or Western or any coarse one.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
