I think those classes teach you how to take the specific tests. I don't think they will help you much with content, since the content in the questions will change periodically. What you want to know is what kinds of questions you might be asked.
Therefore, there are many sites online that you can check out. Of course, starting out with ets.org (the company that gives the test) is a good place to begin. Any where online that you can get free questions is good as well.
There are also books at the library for each specific test as well. You can try there. Mostly you need to know about the different sections and where you might need additional help, which you should learn after you take some practice tests.
Just put - practice gre questions in a search engine and you will get lots of hits. Also, don't forget that there are writing sections on the GRE. If your school does not require these, then don't worry too much.
However, if your school does, you should look at the two different types of essays (issue and argument) and learn more about how each should be answered. Not to mention, if you haven't taken a timed essay in a while, you'll want to practice that as well.
There are many free or cheaply available websites. Here is a brief review of some of them 1. Www.800score.Com - Great site with GRE tests and good feedback 2.Www.missiongre.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
