Halley's Comet Has An Oribital Period Of 76 Years. What is the semi-major axis of its orbit?

An infinitely great amount of fuel. NASA rockets all use chemical fuel. And as the spacecraft goes faster than about 90% of the speed of light, the amount of fuel needed to make the rocket go faster increases -- exponentially.

We could theoretically go up to about 99% of the speed of light - but we would require an enormous amount of fuel. Nothing special would be required to keep an astronaut alive at that speed ... except ... 1) danger from radiation. Every particle (eg hydrogen atom) that the ships collides with would release energetic radiation -- gamma rays and x-rays etc So the space craft would need shielding to stop that radiation from getting to the astronaut.

2) danger of getting lost. At that speed, the spacecraft would pass Pluto in less than 6 hours. Slowing down and reversing direction would see the spacecraft at a vast distance from the sun.

So a very good navigation system would be needed.

You're going to need a magic light-speed spacesuit, obviously.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
