Happy Birthday Brandon Flowers! What's your favorite song by The Killers?

I notice most of the people relate him to CCR, which is understandable. But we tend to forget how great a song writer is is, and all the great music he has written over the years and still does. There are not that many writers out there that have written as much as he has dones and the quality is second to none.

I have the entire Creedence Clearwater Revival Anthology from way back before John was old enough to join when they were still The Blue Velvets and later Tommy Fogerty & The Velvets up through The Golliwogs and throughout their career. Believe you me when I say its a good thing that John took over as guiding force and creative genius because they were possibly the worst band ever when Tom was the leader. And if you ever heard Stu Cook play keyboards you'd be thankful he decided to switch to bass.

John Cameron Fogerty is one of my all time favorites. Being from San Jose originally which isn't that far from Berkeley I used to go see them perform before "Proud Mary" hit the charts. My 5 favorite CCR in no particular order Bad Moon Rising Who'll Stop The Rain It Came Out Of The Sky Bootleg Ramble Tamble Thanks Punch for honoring this gifted artist.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
