Has anybody gone to a DirectBuy presentation? I am curious but it feels a little bit like getting stuck in a timeshare?

I am curious but it feels a little bit like getting stuck in a timeshare sales pitch and I just want to know how much they charge you to join. It must be a lot or they wouldn't be so secretive about it. Asked by Judi 45 months ago Similar questions: DirectBuy presentation curious feels bit stuck timeshare Food & Drink > Restaurants.

Gh pressure sales approach, deciet, misrepresentations made all the way through with direct buy in illinois. I have since written 4 letters and was working with the illinois attorney general, we just got scammed out of 4500. Read the contract, you only have 3 days to cancel!

I do not recommend directbuy under any circumstance, and any positive feedback I would be leary of...Limited use Silver membership for $3,400.00 financed at $122.49 per month for 36 months totaling $4,509.64! Then came the insistence that we “roll into the Gold within a year”If I understand this we would pay $1469.88 after a year then:Add an additional lump sum payment of $300.00 and new payments of $129.70 per month for 36 months totaling $4,669.20.

1 I haven't gone to a presentation, but 7 years or so ago, I was working for an interior decorator, and the fees to join were several thousand dollars. She had something like a 2 or 3 year payment plan. As an interior decorator, it made some sense for her.As a private indivudual?

I might think about it if I was building or completely renovating or remodeling a house... but I'd NEVER save enough to pay back the fees any other way, with how I buy things.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
