It seems to me that Hockey’s rules have always been extremely easy to misconstrue or is completely up to the officials to make the calls. Of course sometimes a rule like “high sticking Is very blatant like when a player takes a swing at another player’s upper torso or head, but on other occasions I’ve seen plays where it seemed like high sticking should be called, and the refs just skate away.
Tripping too seems like it would be a no-brainer but I have seen lots of times where there was blatant tripping and nothing was called. Perhaps it is just that NHL refs are not as good as they could be. It seems in Hockey, unlike any other sport, the action can be moving so fast, and in so many different areas that it is hard to keep up with exactly what is going on, but there definitely appears to be room for improvement.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
