Yes, I've used the neti pot. I picked up a plastic one at CVS Pharmacy for something like thirteen dollars. It included the pot; several pre-measured, sealed packets of salt; and a spoon for stirring and measuring out the right amount of salt for after the packets ran out.
The pot also came with directions, which were very useful. You have to practice a bit before you get the hang of using the pot. If you tilt your head backward too far, you start to choke.
That's mildly unpleasant, but very easy to correct with a little practice. You also need to make sure that you use the right amount of salt, because too much will make your nostrils burn like crazy (and yes, I know that bit from personal experience - ouch! ).
However, after a couple of tries, I got the hang of things. The salt solution really does clean out your sinus passages, even if they're very clogged. (Once, the water wouldn't even come out of my nostril, because things were so clogged up.
I blew, LIGHTLY, and a huge glot of mucous came out, along with the solution - I immediately felt better than I'd felt in DAYS. ) But I don't use the neti pot anymore because my sinuses are seriously jacked up. I was having to use the thing every couple of hours, whereas other people I know have to use it maybe twice a day to keep their sinuses, allergies, et cetera, from bothering them. It's definitely worth a try, because many people I know, who use the pot, get great results.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
