Has anyone ever used the born blond hair dye from natural instincts (clairol) with brown hair?

Yes you can use Natural Instincts to dye your hair darker. Because it has NO peroxide, it will deposit color, but NOT lift..now if you were dark and wanted to be lighter, you CANNOT use this procut, because it cannot LIFT to a lighter shade, then your own. The only problem with this product I can see, is that you will have to use it at least every 28 shampoos.

, so if you wash each day it will fade fast. You can use shampoo with color in it, or go to your local Sally's and get Clariol NATURAL's...this is what I call a DEMI tint....you can actually por it into your hand and mix it with your shampoo, leave it on for about 15 minutes and it will help to keep your color in LONGER. There are ways to EXTEND any color treatment...using the proper products.

Make sure you use a Nuetral Base brown. Also because their is NO peroxide in the Natural Instincts, a Medium Brown will be SCARY dark.....of course that will lighten up after 2 or 3 shampoos. I would go with a Light brown...unless you want it really dark.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
