Has anyone used Fireworks CS3 or Fireworks 8 to make animated .gif's?

Has anyone used Fireworks CS3 or Fireworks 8 to make animated . Gif's Are there any good free websites that show how to do it. And, if not, what is the best book (please don't recommend a book if you haven't used it).Thanks.

No book needed You don't really need a book in fireworks. Create new image in desired size and add whatever you want as first frame. Use the duplicate layer icon which copies it to next layer.

Update as required. Repeat for all future layers. Set time for each transition.Save.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
