The God of War games have won several awards already from different events, websites, magazines etc, and really it deserves everything it gets. Basically, it has already received several Game of the Year awards, Best Action Game, Best Playstation 2 Game, and so on and so forth. I guess the reason why it has become such a popular series is because it combines both fun and engaging gameplay with visuals that are sure to astound you.
I mean, who would have thought that a game like God of War 2 would be technically possible on a system like the Playstation 2? It easily surpasses a lot of games during its time and can even pass as an early next generation title. I think you can also conclude that a lot of its popularity stems from its mature, greek setting and over the top violence.In a nutshell, if you like action games, the God of War games stand tall near the top and you could easily tell that it’s a good series from all the acclaim it has received.
